Abstract

The aims of study was the physical and chemical diagnosis of water and springs characterization at Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia in Parauapebas city, Brazil. Water samples were collected from three springs and analyzes were carried out in the years 2017 (March 22nd to August 12th) and 2018 (March 10th to June 5th). In field, the water temperature of springs was measured, and pH and electrical conductivity measurements were carried out at Soil Laboratory of UFRA. The three springs evaluated were classified as intermittent with influence of rainfall and organic matter on pH values and electrical conductivity. By results of correlation between the springs associated with pH values and electrical conductivity of water, it was verified similarity in three springs, justified by their proximity, characterizing it as a single spring.
