Abstract
The study explores the interaction between social sciences and law, focusing on the influence of social sciences on legal research and writing, analyzing law as a social phenomenon in contemporary society. The Narrative Literature Review (NLR) methodology was used to provide an overview of current knowledge and an interpretative synthesis of the topic. The analysis highlights the need to overcome unidirectional dialogues by promoting an interdisciplinary approach to legal research. Interdisciplinarity is essential for understanding the interactions between law and society, overcoming unidisciplinary limitations, and fostering more contextualized analyses of social and legal issues. The study emphasizes the complementarity between social and legal sciences, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary integration to make research more relevant to society.
