Abstract

This article aims to provide information on the types of rights violations experienced by children and adolescents in the municipality of Ariquemes, RO. Using a comparative descriptive study with a quantitative analysis, data from service records collected over an eight-year period were analyzed, covering cases of children's and adolescents' rights violations recorded by the Specialized Social Assistance Reference Center (CREAS) in the Monthly Service Registry (RMA). CREAS is a public unit that operates at a medium complexity level, addressing cases in which children's and adolescents' rights are violated. The analysis of RMA data indicated high rates of physical violence, psychological violence, and sexual abuse, both within and outside the family environment. Understanding these types of rights violations is essential for developing effective public policies and appropriate interventions aimed at protecting and ensuring the well-being of these vulnerable youth. Therefore, implementing measures that promote the protection of children and adolescents is crucial to guaranteeing a safe and healthy environment.
