Abstract

Sars-Cov-19, responsible for the rapidly spreading disease known as COVID-19, caused disruptions and losses in the socioeconomic sphere that are difficult to measure, and even in 2022, the post-vaccination year and considered the year of resuming activities, there are uncertainties about the future of the social structures in which humanity lives. Due to the sanitary protocols adopted, the educational segment was strongly affected. In this scenario, is it possible to affirm that the adaptation of business videoconferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, serving as Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC’s), presented a way to continue academic activities and minimize the disruptions caused by this adverse situation? This paper sought to provide answers to questions like these and, in addition, aimed to analyze technologies and methodologies adopted by a Higher Education Institution (IES) in the State of São Paulo, in order to offer complementary digital instruments for improving the dissemination of academic knowledge.
