Abstract

This study is a methodological proposal for the teaching of geometric optics, about the correction of vision defects with the use of lenses, constructed with alternative materials, allowing experimentation in the teaching and learning process. To achieve this, the Curriculum Parameters for High School (PCNEMs) of Natural Sciences and the Common Curricular National Base (BNCC) and other guiding documents that address the teaching of Physics, Ausubel's Theory of Meaningful Learning and the importance of experimental physics classes, were analyzed.
